Those who have real estate in these areas are invited to submit a declaration of their property online via the website www.ktimatologio.gov.gr or at the Land Registry Office of the area where their property is located.

The deadline for submitting declarations for the six municipalities of Chania began on 18-10-2021 and ends on 18-4-2022 for both residents of the domestic and foreign residents and the Greek State.

The submission of the declaration is mandatory. The Land Registry Office is located in the municipality of Chania: Makris Tihos Chania, 3rd km of the Old National Road of Chania Kissamos, TK 73100, while the service from Athens is at 23 Alexandroupoleos Street, TK 11527, Athens

Where the pre-suspension starts

The process of pre-hooking of cadastral data starts from today, March 8, 2022, for those who have declared their real estate property located in areas of the regional units of Boeotia, Fokida and Halkidiki.

Through the electronic pre-mapping, the owners of these areas, who have already received the relevant notifications individually, can, until April 21, 2022, easily, quickly and free of charge, correct any errors in the registration of their real estate in the Land Registry.

Through the website of the Cadastre, www.ktimatologio.gov.gr, for 45 days, beneficiaries, using their taxisnet security codes, have access to the registration of their rights and the geographical representation of their properties.

In particular, they will have to see and check:

– The description and legal information of their properties (Land Register)

– The description and legal status of their land parcels (Cadastral Chart)

If they agree with the information in the Pre-Application, they do not need to take any further action.

If they do not agree with any of the data, they can submit a request for a data review (until 21 April 2022) electronically, to the respective mailboxes of the Land Registry Office or in person, by appointment at the Land Registry Office.

If they have not registered their property with the Land Registry they still have time to do so online at www.ktimatologio.gov.gr or at the local Land Registry office by appointment. After the corrections of the pre-registration, the process of registration will follow, for which the beneficiaries will be informed again.

The participation of citizens in the pre-registration process is extremely important, as it ensures that the rights they have declared will be correctly recorded in the Land Registry and will avoid unnecessary inconvenience in the future.
