GREEN Estate is changing the approach to real estate brokerage

Athens Voice spoke with us about our company’s policy and vision.

After a 10-year journey in the real estate sector and successful collaboration as consulting engineers, Michalis Kalogiannakis and Stratos Kentros, with Topo G.E.S., decided in 2019 to take a new step in the real estate industry. They speak to us about “GREEN Estate” and their vision to change the status quo of brokerage in our country. With their main pillars being technological development, sustainability, quality of service, a human-centric approach, and long-term partnerships, they are laying the foundations for a more ecological and auspicious future in the real estate sector.

Why the “GREEN” in your title? Do you aim for sustainability, and if so, in what way?

Our philosophy is based, among other principles, primarily on sustainability and a commitment to environmental protection. We use only sustainable materials and reduce plastic use in our office, as well as energy consumption, while planning all our operations according to sustainable development standards. Even our office’s provided services aim for a greener future, as in collaboration with the technical department of Topo GES, we undertake property services for their Energy Upgrade – meaning, regarding our buildings, we aim for a greener and energy-autonomous future.

How “human-centric” can a Real Estate agency be?

Actually, quite a lot, if you treat each client individually, trying to deeply understand their different needs and priorities and, of course, proposing personalized solutions. At GREEN Estate, however, we adopt an equally human-centric approach in our relationships with our partners, strengthening communication and mutual understanding, and promoting a climate of mutual trust and cooperation. We seek to understand our partners’ needs and ambitions and provide them with the necessary support and training to achieve their goals. Because we believe deeply in teamwork and the potential for growth of every team member, we recognize the contribution and ideas of our partners, offering fair professional conditions for all. Respect for the client and the employees is the key to our long-term and successful collaborations. We believe that lasting relationships with our partners are essential for their success, as well as our own. For this reason, we provide them with continuous support and advice, even after a transaction is completed. Thus, a long-term relationship of mutual trust is built, which often results in friendship.
